LEÓN

León is a city located in the northwest of Spain in the region of Castilla y León. It has an extensive historical and monumental heritage, with several monuments that stand out in the Spanish territory. But, without a doubt, the most outstanding landmark in the city its impressive Cathedral. It is a temple begun in the mid-12th century, which has as its most characteristic feature its set of stained glass windows, one of the great European landmarks of its kind.
